This room is dedicated to Ernest Ansermet, a famous Swiss composer and conductor who created the OSR and was its conductor for nearly 50 years.
His long friendship with Igor Stravinsky led to an artistic collaboration, notably with the creation of The Soldier's Tale, a ballet performed in Lausanne in 1918 under the direction of Ernest Ansermet.
