From the Bret Lake in direction of Tour de Gourze
Park your carriage at the end of the lake of Bret (just above "Pierre Vieille"), from there, go towards "La Corbessière" and then follow the indications leading you to the Tower of Gourze.
3,5 kilometers of effort including approximately 300 of positive difference in altitude and 1h30 later, you will reach the Tower of Gourze. From the top of the tower you will be able to see a magnificent spectacle. A mixture of forest, vineyards of Lavaux, various colors, without forgetting the Alps and the lake of Geneva extending as far as the eye can see.
The restaurant of the Tour de Gourze offers you a fondue to die for, but don't forget, you still have to go back to Bret!
From Vufflens-le-Château to Morges
Do you like historical landscapes and forest walks in autumn? From Vufflens-le-Château to Morges. A nice walk to go down towards the lake of Geneva while following the small river "La Morges".
It will be easier to park at the Morges train station, take the train to Vufflens-le-Château and walk back down. Of course, you can do the route in the opposite direction.
A very nice walk adapted for families with young children. From Vufflens-le-Château, count 1h30 of walk for approximately 3 kilometers of distance. A nice descent through fields, vineyards and forests on the banks of "La Morges".

Tour de Gourze, from Riex
Let's go up!
From the winegrowers' village of Riex, in the Lavaux, a nice climb through vineyards, fields and small pieces of forest leads you to one of the highest viewpoints of the Lavaux, the Tour de Gourze!
A difference in altitude of 450 meters for a duration of about 1h30. This ascent is a perfect physical training and will make you work the cardio. For the experienced climbers, try to beat the 45 minutes.
The ascent being in some places relatively steep, walking sticks and good shoes are recommended.

The Day waterfalls, from "Les Clées
Starting from the magnificent little village of " Les Clées ", not far from Orbe, a peaceful walk along the river Orbe will lead you to the Day waterfalls. A change of scenery and a quiet stroll are guaranteed!
At the entrance of the village, you can park your car in front of the church. When you are ready to leave, just go down to the right (Chemin " Les Crosets ") and cross the point below. One last time to the right and then straight on to the Day waterfalls!
From the village "Les Clées" to the Cascades du Day : 6,5 kilometers to make the round trip. It will take you 1 hour of flat walking to reach the waterfalls. A small forest path along the Orbe, beautiful colors during all seasons. During the fishing season, it is possible to admire fly fishermen with water up to their hips!
For the most motivated, don't forget your towel and bathing suit to take a dip under the waterfall!
Between Lutry and St-Saphorin through the vineyards
At the entrance to the Lavaux, aUNESCO world heritage site, enter a magical setting. Vineyards as far as the eye can see as well as small atypical villages of the region.
As it is allowed to walk on the wine trails at our leisure feel free to start your walk from wherever you wish. We recommend the villages of Aran, Grandvaux, le Châtelard, Epesse, Riex or Cully.
Paths through the vineyards easily accessible by bike or on foot to discover breathtaking landscapes (for cyclists; beware, at times, it climbs well)
Small fridges, made available by the winegrowers of the region, are scattered in the domains. The most famous one is on the Domaine Chollet. These small fridges offer you small bottles of wine to be paid cash. We ask you to respect this type of system based on trust because there are not many left! Surprise your loved ones by preparing/organizing a nice little picnic.
NB: you will find great places for romantic getaways!
The Tine of Conflens
The perfect walk along the Venoge river with almost your feet in the water all the way! Rest assured that you will only be in the water if you wish.
At "La Sarraz" walk down towards the Venoge. When you reach the river, after the bridge, turn left. From that moment on, you just have to go straight and enjoy the ride.
For the more courageous, it is possible to swim in the shallow areas without risk after a walk in the middle of summer.
On the lakefront between Lutry and Vidy
The quays and paths along the lake between Lutry and Vidy (just after Ouchy) are beautiful and especially practicable by bike, rollerblades and in some places by skateboard.
All along the promenade you will find beaches where you can rest, take a dip or simply contemplate the view. Ice cream refreshments are available from the port of Pully or towards Ouchy, always along the lake.
Sauvabelin Tower
A superb corner of nature is hidden in the heights of the city of Lausanne, have you heard about it? A breathtaking view of the Olympic capital? A big tower?
The Sauvabelin Tower is located in the Sauvabelin park, not far from the small lake and its attractions for children (animal park and playground). In less than 15 minutes of ascent, the trees surrounding the tower will give way to a 360° view from which you will be able to let yourself be bewitched by the beauty of the landscape as far as the eye can see. The autumn colors will be there too. If you have binoculars, take them!
