Located between the castle of Morges and the river, the Parc de l'Indépendance is a real little paradise in the center of the city of Morges. Offering a splendid view of Lake Geneva, the Alps and the Mont-Blanc, the park is an ideal place for a peaceful stroll in all seasons. You will discover more than 50 varieties of trees as well as several historical monuments such as the Hercules fountain, a copy of a statue discovered in Pompeii and installed in Morges at the beginning of the 20th century.
Every year, the park hosts the Tulip Festival, a large horticultural exhibition that has become a real flower show. More than 100,000 flowers bloom in the park to celebrate this colorful and unique event in Switzerland!
